MARC R. BOHREN, CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD
Born in 1956, Marc R. Bohren holds a CPCG Master’s diploma and various American degrees in negotiation and stock exchange brokerage. After having worked for many years in the banking sector in Switzerland and in the United States, he was appointed CFO of an international group in the food industry. Arriving at Skyguide (formerly Swisscontrol) in 1999, he entered the Management Committee in 2000 and is presently CFO of the Skyguide group, in charge of Finances, Human Resources, Infrastructure and Information Technology. He is also a member of the Board of the Foundation Council for the AAA Foundation in Nyon and IST in Zurich, both active in asset management for contingency fund institutions.

 

LAURE BROLLIET, VICE-PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD
Laure Brolliet is the 4th generation of the family managers of Brolliet SA, a real estate company. The firm employs more than 100 employees and manages a patrimony of 254 million of rental assets. Brolliet SA is active, in particular, in residential and commercial brokerage sectors, development, investments and consulting. She is also board member of the Brocher Fondation and of  Laure Brolliet is now the chairman of the Board of Brolliet SA and is a member of the Foundation Council of the Brocher Foundation and of the Central Office for Social Assistance.

 

NICOLAS REBETEZ, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER & CO-FOUNDER
Nicolas Rebetez did his first entrepreneurial steps when he was sixteen by offering web design services. At the same time, he started a professional career by working for an aeronautical company in the computing department. After a few months, he was approached by IBM. Nicolas Rebetez enjoyed six years of professional experience with IBM in various posts such as: customers 3rd level support, trained by IBM and Cisco and responsible for the pre-sales support systems by technically advising sales and international clients acquiring large-scale information systems. In 2007, Nicolas Rebetez joined a real estate company for an intrapreneurial mission where he had the responsibility to set up a marketing and communication department and the main strategic lines of the communication. In 2006, Nicolas Rebetez has cofounded Sensometrix. He is presently the CEO and is in charge of the corporate strategy and business development. Nicolas Rebetez holds a postgraduate diploma in «Entrepreneurship and business development» from HEC Geneva, the Graduate School of Management of the University of Geneva.

 

ADRIEN DE LOËS, CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER & CO-FOUNDER
Adrien de Loës is the Co-Founder of Sensometrix SA and Chief Financial Officer since January 2008. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Lausanne Hotel School and a diploma in corporate economy. He developed his competences in marketing and finances while working in the banking sector. Furthermore, Adrien de Loës is in the executive committee of the Family Business Network (French part of Switzerland) in charge of the development of the network focusing on future generations. Adrien de Loës is in charge of finances, accounting, financing, operational planning, human resources, as well as of the building and development of Sensometrix’s network.

 

GUILLAUME DU PASQUIER, CHIEF TECHNOLOGICAL OFFICER & PARTNER
Guillaume Du Pasquier has a Bachelor and Master’s degree in communication systems from the EPFL. He has worked for various companies active in the fields of audio signal treatment, physical security and data/ telecommunications security. In particular, he has worked at NEC in Tokyo and at Tejas Networks in Bangalore in audio signal treatment, and at Kudelski and Fastcom Technology in the fields of numeric television and security. Guillaume Du Pasquier has managed projects of great scope and he is highly competent in security system architectures, in the development of embedded systems and in algorithmic development for the treatment of audio and video signals. Guillaume Du Pasquier is responsible for the research and development, as well as for the sales technical support.

 

JULIAN COOK
In 2003, Julian Cook founded Flybaboo SA, a Geneva based regional airline and was CEO until 2008.  Prior to that Julian Cook started his career in Corporate Finance at the Chase Manhattan Bank where he was an Associate in the Transportation Group from 1995 to 1998.  Julian Cook holds an MBA from the Columbia Business School and a Bsc. in Ecomomics from The London School of Economics. Julian Cook is currently Chairman of the Board of Flybaboo SA, member of the Board of Edelvia SA and member of the board of the "Chambre de Commerce et d'industrie de Genève".

 

GILLES CHEVREY
A graduate in social psychology of the University of Geneva and a beneficiary of a post grade in work psychology and organizations of the University of Neuchâtel, Gilles Chevrey works as a consultant for company development with special focus on collective competences.

After 3 years spent in the watch-making industry, with responsibility for implementing micro-computer science, he goes back to study psychology, then takes over HR responsibility for a computer science company during 4 years. He then joins a consulting firm in HR management as a consulting specialist in the management of competences. He sets up management systems by objectives for major groups and develops, within relief programmes, devices for assessment management training. As of 2003, he joins the CCSO network as a consultant in organizational development and conducts various mandates with client enterprises. Furthermore, he collaborates as an evaluator with AC4 for assessments and intercedes as an expert for the CTI start-up. He is also a training intervener for HEG ARC.

 

KEITH D. SELLERS
As a Senior Manager in Boeing Research and Technology, Keith is responsible for a portfolio of technology development projects including:  Integrated Vehicle Health Management, Structural/System Repair, Ground Support Equipment and Measurement Applications.

Keith joined the McDonnell Douglas Corporation in 1995 as a software engineer, and in 1996 he was the lead engineer for an Advanced Mission Computer concept being developed to replace the legacy system on the F/A-18 Hornet with a commercially based product. Keith also worked in the F/A-18 New Product Development group as their Avionics Architect, and helped identify avionics upgrades required to implement new war-fighting capabilities.  He aided in the development of a proposal to the US Navy for an F/A-18 Electronic Attack derivative.  This concept eventually became the EA-18G program.

Keith participated in Boeing’s Enterprise Auditor program, a two year leadership development program built around rotational assignments across the Boeing enterprise.

Keith earned an Executive MBA degree from the Institute for Management Development (IMD), Switzerland and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri, USA.  He has served in both the United States Marine Corps, and the United States Navy Reserves.  

 

DR PHILIPPE DALLEMAGNE
Philippe Dallemagne is a member of the “Real-time solutions and networking” of CSEM, where he is in charge of project management in several fields such as real-time communication, wireless reader networks and robust software reconfiguration. He became a Doctor in Computer Sciences from the Henri Poincaré University in Nancy in 1998. He was in charge of the PT49 group of the ESTI which standardized the Videotex Enhanced Man-Machine Interface (VEMMI – ETR 300-382 and ITU-T.107). He worked for a startup Euro-CSL, a company specialized in telematics, then for IBM in the Analysis and Design Tools Laboratory in Paris, before joining CSEM. He is the author of several articles presented to international conferences. He is also the national representative for Switzerland at Technical Committee 5 of the IFIP.

 

DR ANDRZEJ DRYGAJLO
Andrzej Drygajlo, head of the Speech Processing and Biometrics Group at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology at Lausanne, conducts research on technological, methodological and legal aspects of biometrics for security and forensic applications.

In 1993 he created the EPFL Speech Processing Group (GTP) and then the EPFL Speech Processing and Biometrics Group (GTPB) and Biometrics Centre Lausanne. Dr. Drygajlo, has a wide experience in conducting co-ordinated research projects in speech processing and biometrics. Currently he conducts research and teaching in biometrics, man-machine communication and speech processing at EPFL and in School of Criminal Sciences (ESC) at the University of Lausanne.

He participates and coordinates numerous national and international projects and is member of various scientific committees. Recently, he has been elected chair of the European COST 2101 Action "Biometrics for Identity Documents and Smart cards (BIDS)". The main objective of the Action is to investigate novel technologies for unsupervised multimodal biometric authentication systems using a new generation of biometrics-enabled identity documents and smart cards. In 2007 Dr. Drygajlo was nominated by the Swiss government a member of the European Security Research and Innovation Forum (ESRIF), Working Group on Identification of People and Assets.  In October 2007 the EBF European Biometric Research Award 2007 was awarded to one of his Ph.D. student. He is the author/co-author of more than 100 research publications, including several book chapters, together with his own book. He is a member of the IEEE, EURASIP (European Association for Signal Processing) and ISCA (International Speech Communication Association) professional groups.
